The Planning Board for the Town of Worthington will hold a Public Hearing regarding an application for Special Permit submitted by BWC Wades Stream, LCC / BlueWave Solar for a Large Scale Ground Mounted Solar Photovoltaic Installation at 190 Ridge Road. The proposed project overlaps the Water Supply Protection District, therefore requiring a Special Permit according to section 9.2 of the Protective Zoning By-law for the Town of Worthington.

The proposed project involves the installation of approximately 7,462 ground mounted solar photovoltaic panels and associated equipment to produce 3.95-megawatts (MW) direct current (DC). The project area is approximately 27.45 acres in what is currently an open field.
