The Town of Worthington has entered into an agreement with CMRK Inc. for recycling of clothing, textiles, housewares and more! These collections divert clothing and housewares out of the landfill.
Bins for Textiles and Books are now located just outside the Transfer Station in the parking area next to the Town Ponds and the free sand area. They’ll eventually be moved down into the Highway yard. We also will have bins at the Fire and Police station and possibly some additional spots in town for convenient drop-off.
We are also now taking small Household Goods now. Click here for a list of acceptable and unacceptable items. These items must be boxed and breakables need to be wrapped. They can be left in the Shed at the Transfer Station during Regular Transfer Station Hours only.
