Week of 08/17/Monday through 08/21/Friday
Crew # 1 – Monday thru Wednesday, Morais Construction continues reconstruction of the roadway beginning at East Windsor Road to Lindsey Hill Road, placing Dense Graded Crushed Stone on the roadway. Thursday & Friday will backfill shoulders behind the blacktop paving crew.
Crew # 2 – Thursday & Friday Palmer Paving will pave blacktop base course from East Windsor Road to Lindsey Hill Road.
Week of 08/24/Monday through 08/28/Friday
Crew # 1 – Monday thru Friday, Morais Construction will backfill shoulders behind the blacktop paving crew.
Crew # 2 – Monday & Tuesday, Palmer Paving will pave blacktop intermediate course from East Windsor Road to Lindsey Hill Road.
Note: Work hours for non-blacktop paving work are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, one-way alternating traffic will be in place with traffic officers directing traffic.
Work hours for blacktop paving (Palmer Paving) are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the same one-way alternating traffic with traffic officers.
ALERT: With the paving underway next week, you may want to consider the detour from East Windsor Rd to the center of Peru. It adds approximately 7-12 minutes to the trip depending on where you’re headed, but it’s time you can count on rather than a possible wait and rough road in the construction areas.
It’s a little twisty, but signs are up and it’s well marked.
Lindsay Hill Road remains closed and is NOT AVAILABLE AS A DETOUR!
