i am confused when the 2026 Town meeting is scheduled. Charlie Rose said in a message to my phone that the Town meeting is April 25th yet the town website says May 2, what is correct? also where is the Town Warrant? we as taxpayers need to know what we are voting for in expenditures. Why the big secrets!
Hi, I’m sorry for the confusion. Annual Town Meeting is normally on the first Saturday in May, which this year is Saturday, May 2. The message I left today concerning the recyclying being full at the Transfer Station also mentioned that our Town Modertor is holding a “Town Meeting 101” session on Saturday, April 25, to go over Town Meeting basics and answer questions about Town Meeting and it’s processes. It’s not the Town Meeting itself. That’s next Saturday, May 2, 2026. The warrant for Town Meeting was signed and posted today and is now available on the Town Website here.
