Norman E. Anderson II will give a presentation about his mother, Dorset Anderson’s years in Vietnam as a Donut Dollie. Her stories are fascinating and he will have pictures of Dorset and a video.

A 1993 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton and a 1997 graduate of Williams College in Williamstown, Norman Anderson II recently completed work on the film titled, The Donut Dollies: A Documentary. “Armed only with smiles and hand-made games, the Donut Dollies risked their lives every day to achieve their mission of cheering up and bringing a sense of home to the U.S. troops.”
