Dear Community:

We had a terrific turnout with Open House!  It was really nice to see so many of you join your kiddo(s) in the classroom to see the teaching and learning that is in full swing.

Tis the Season:  Cold and Flu season is in full swing as well as COVID so you may notice that some of the faculty have been wearing masks. Please remind your children to wash their hands before eating or other hand to mouth contact.  And due to the rapid spread of illness through our community recently, please keep children home at the first sign of illness. We thank you!

Pavilion Committee:  The district is looking for a person interested in supporting the committee with Fundraising efforts and coordination/support with the builder.  Please contact gmorsedobosz@hr-k12.org if you are interested.

PTO Update:   A huge thanks to Max Breiteneicher for making all the grinders for Open House, and to Katie Maunz for providing food items, and Katie Dahill’s  donation of the condiments.   We are looking for volunteers to help with the Harvest Festival.  Please email Max Breiteneicher at jmaximilianb@gmail.com to sign up to help.  We cannot have this event without volunteers.   The next meeting is on October 20 at 6:00PM.

Family Breakfast and Lunch:  We would like to invite family members to breakfast and lunch.  For the month of October we have the following dates scheduled.  Breakfast on October 18 beginning at 8:30 a.m. and lunch on October 14 and 24 beginning at 12:30 p.m.  Please look for a sign-up sheet from Ms. Ashley in the green folders.

Cost for adults to purchase breakfast or lunch.

  • Breakfast is $3.00.
  • Lunch  is $5.00.

  • Please make sure to send your child in with a water bottle.
  • If you have a health concern and feel that a call to Nurse Meg is warranted to help make a decision about sending your child to school, please text Nurse Meg at 413-320-8172 or email her at mbreymann@hr-K12.org before 7:00 a.m. and until 7p.m.
