The Worthington Co-op Group,
Acres of Diamonds,
is inviting all members of the community
to participate in this year’s
group order of:
Seeds
Potatoes, Onion and Other Exotics
and Organic Grower Supplies
from FEDCO.

FEDCO is a Maine-based worker/consumer-owned cooperative specializing in gardening, farming and orcharding supplies from warehouses in Clinton, Maine. The Coop’s goal is to reach a total order of $1200 which will result in a 15% discount on your order.

The Order deadline is
Tuesday, February 4, 2025
Saturday, January 25, 2025

FEDCO operates separate divisions for ordering. The group will be ordering from:
* FEDCO Seeds – Online Catalog ~ PDF Catalog
* Potatoes, Onions and Other Exotics – Online Catalog ~ PDF Catalog 
* Organic Growers Supply – Online Catalog ~ PDF Catalog

There are other Divisions for Trees and Fall Bulbs. The Group will not be placing group orders with those divisions. You are welcome to order from them, but you’ll order and submit payment for those orders directly with FEDCO.

You’ll see links to each division on the FEDCO Website. Paper catalogs are also available at the Worthington Library. If a total of $1200 in orders is reached by the group in each division, then the orders receive the discount.

Check or Venmo payment is to Acres of Diamonds once you tally your order, so that we can cover the cost when we submit our group’s order. Please subtract  15% before paying your Seed orders (we’re assuming we’ll hit the $1200 amount to get that discount for everyone).

Pay the other divisions (Potatoes, Onions & Exotics and Organic Supply) straight. We’ll work out shipping when we choose the method. The Coop will reimburse you when/if we receive discounts.

If you only want to order if there is a discount, please make that clear to Meg Breymann, who’s coordinator of the order. You can do that when you order, by leaving a message on your order as you submit it, for: “the coordinator.”

Ordering Instructions for Group Members

  1. Log in to Fedcoseeds.com
  2. Go to the division in which you are building an order, using the links in the website page header. Log in using your own email address.
  3. When you review your order prior to checking out, click the “Part of a Group†checkbox. Then go to “Checkout†and type in the group order number where indicated.
    If you are prompted to enter a credit card number, stop. Back up. You did not choose “Part of a Groupâ€. Instead of paying online with your order, you will be writing a check to Acres of Diamonds Food Coop in payment. We will settle discounts and/or unavailable items after the order is in and delivered.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email at the address you used to log in. Your coordinator, Meg, will also receive a confirmation email. Until your coordinator finalizes the order, however, Fedco cannot confirm receipt of your order.

Regarding discounts, 

You will not see bulk pricing applied when you order as part of a group. Nevertheless, if the group as a whole qualifies for bulk pricing, it will be applied when the group coordinator submits the order to FEDCO. If you do not wish to order without a discount, or have any special requests, let Meg know by text or within your order “message to the coordinator,” as you submit your order. Meg is able to see your orders until she submits the entire order.
