R. H. Conwell Community News 6/23/2023

Dear Community:

This week we came together to celebrate our sixth grade graduates! Congratulations to our seven graduates! We wish them well in their next schools and look forward to hearing how they like 7th grade! And, on Thursday, we also celebrated our rising Kindergarteners and First Graders! Congratulations to ALL of our graduates!

Smocks for our students: We are looking for anyone who can sew to help with a project to turn t-shirts into smocks for art next year. We have various size t-shirts and some velcro. The project would involve cutting the shirts up the back and then sewing a velcro closure on the back of the neck. Please email Carolyn Hawthorne if you are able to sew some smocks this summer. chawthorne@hr-k12.org. Stop by the school for the supplies.

Ice Cream Social for Our Whole Community in gratitude for your support for Screen-free Days in May. We invite the community to the school on Monday, June 26 around 12:50-1:30 to enjoy a quick sweet treat with your student/s and all of us on our last full day of school! Please text or call Nurse Meg to plan for dietary differences.
