Route 143 (Old North Road)
Crew # 1 – Continue rock removal at Ledge # 2 located at West End of project and small amount of drilling and blasting to cleanup knobs at Ledge # 1 near Bashan Hill Road.
Blasting on Friday 9/12 back on the Phase 1 area in the vicinity of 697 Old North Road, and potentially Monday 9/15 if it doesnt get finished up Friday.
Crew # 2 – Continue Road Reconstruction (mill off blacktop, then install gravel base, then Fine Grade from Rte. 143 & East Windsor RD intersection to Liston’s. (This will take the month of September followed by blacktop paving of this area in October)
Note: At both construction locations between the work hours of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM one-way alternating traffic will be in place with traffic officers directing traffic. At Ledge # 1 and 2 when blasting is occurring, Rte. 143 will be closed & detoured if needed, with detail officers on both sides for as short a period possible.
Route 112 (Huntington Rd)
A Warner Brothers crew will be doing miscellaneous work to prepare for paving.
Note: One way traffic as needed with traffic officers directing during work hours from 7:00 AMto 3:30 PM.
