Extreme cold temperatures are expected on Saturday. The temperature Saturday morning is expected to be below 0 with wind chills in the -10 to -25 range.
With that in mind, we will be delaying the opening of the Transfer Station on Saturday. We plan to be open from 12 Noon – 5pm.
The machinery for the two compactors can also get a little ornery when it’s that cold, so if we have issues getting things running, we’ll send out an update over the Emergency Notification System.
