We received this lovely note to everyone from the Northampton Survival Center as a thank you for the generous donations to the Hilltown Food Pantry in November. The generosity this community showed was really touching. A total of 1,362 pounds of food from a town with less than 1,200 residents and $1,535 in donations was just amazing.
“Thank you for your recent donation of 1,362 pounds of food (and the collection of many cash donations) to the Hilltown Pantry. At a time when the social safety net is fraying and so many people risk falling through the cracks, your thoughtfulness makes a real difference.
Thanks to you, our shelves are stocked, our doors are open, and families facing real hardship are met not with judgment, but with compassion and dignity. When other systems fall short, you step up—and our community is stronger for it.
A recent client said it best: “Your kindness has helped restore a sense of hope and stability in our lives.” That hope exists because you care.
Thanks again for being there—for our clients, and for us. We’re so grateful for your partnership.
Sincerely,
Danielle”
