Part-time Blandford resident Eve Queler, now 94, an internationally acclaimed conductor who has guest conducted on podiums worldwide to sold-out audiences — including over 100 operas at Carnegie Hall — is the driving force behind this longstanding program now in its 30th year. This regional spectacular event was initially created by Maestra Queler to help save the iconic church structure, a cherished local landmark.
Maestra Queler has selected emerging global talent for this year’s concert, which will include works by Mozart, Johann Strauss, Puccini, Rossini, and Donizetti. This year’s ensemble includes:

• Mezzo-soprano Madison Marie McIntosh
• American coloratura soprano Catherine Wethington
• Baritone Joseph Parrish
