Judy Babcock, a long-time crocheter, will teach a basic crochet class designed for those who have never crocheted before or have limited experience in this craft. The class costs $30.00, which includes the required yarn to make a traditional granny square and a size H crochet hook. Ms. Babcock will teach the stitches necessary to complete your square (slip stitch, chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet) and will suggest other projects you can make with these stitches. Other stitches (such as the half-double crochet) and ideas will be presented depending on student progress and interest, with time for questions. Class size is limited to 10 participants.
