Dear Community:

I am writing to express my gratitude to all of you for your support throughout this school year. Your role as parents, along with your involvement, encouragement, and partnership, has been instrumental in making this year a successful and enriching experience for our students. Witnessing our students grow, learn, and thrive under the guidance of our dedicated teachers has been a source of immense joy and pride. Your commitment to their education and well-being is truly appreciated.

Congratulations to our 6th graders who are transitioning to middle school. We wish you much success in this next exciting chapter of your educational journey. To all the families who have been a part of the Worthington community and are now moving on to middle school, thank you for your years of support and involvement. We will miss you and always cherish the memories we’ve made together.

As we transition into the summer months, I encourage you to continue fostering a love of learning at home. Whether through reading, exploring nature, or engaging in creative projects, there are countless opportunities to keep the spirit of curiosity and discovery alive. Please take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy quality moments with your family. We eagerly look forward to welcoming our students back in the fall, ready to embark on another exciting year of growth and learning.

Thank you once again for your support and partnership. I wish you a joyful and safe summer break!

Certified Babysitters: We hosted a babysitter certification course over April vacation, and have compiled a list (with parent permission) of newly certified babysitters for the school community for any families looking for childcare. Please contact the parent listed to coordinate.

News from the school nurses:

We have been in contact with the Dental Operations Manager at Hilltown Community Health Centers, and are looking to partner with them for the upcoming school year to bring dental services to students while in school! We hope that offering this service will increase accessibility to families to have their students’ oral health needs met without having to take time off from work, as well as reduce the time on learning students miss while receiving this essential care.

If you would be interested in taking advantage of this service, please complete this form. Completing the form is not a binding commitment to signing up for services. We are simply gauging interest to see if this is a service our school community would utilize.

Thank you!

Next School Year: A friendly reminder that we need updated physicals (within a year) for all students entering preschool, kindergarten, and grades 1 and 4. Please make sure these are sent to the Nurses before the first day of school in August!

It has been a pleasure caring for your students this school year. Have a healthy, restful, and fun summer with your families! See you in August!
