Hope you had a relaxing Thanksgiving recess with family and friends. Both Owen and Tatum were able to come home from college for Thanksgiving! It was really lovely to have the time with them. The month of December has many school events happening. Please make sure to read through the upcoming events and mark your calendar. Winter recess is going to be here before we know it!

From the Library: The library is hosting a book swap on 12/7 during library hours. They are looking for gently used books for the swap, please drop off by December 4. Also, we have several books that have not been returned, please send in any library books that you may still have at home.
PTO: We are also looking for parents to help with the holiday bazaar on 12/13. We would need volunteers to help organize the donations, wrap the presents and help the children shop. We could also use some parents to assist with setting up and taking down the bazaar as well. Please email the PTO at worthingtonpto.ma@gmail.com
PTO meetings will typically be on the third Thursday of each month with the next one scheduled on December 21. This will be a hybrid meeting. Coffee and homemade cookies will be served if you attend the meeting in person! Hope to see you there!
Update from the Nurse’s Office:
Please send your children to school with warm outerwear!
We have seen many students in the health office seeking winter gear. As the temperatures continue to drop, and as we get more snow, it is critical students have warm coats, snow pants, boots, hats, and gloves/mittens to safely play outside. Thank you!

Here is a link with fun info and activities to do with carrots! www.massfarmtoschool.org Don’t forget to sign up for family meals, sign up sheets have gone home in folders for both breakfast and lunch. You can send money in your child’s folder or bring it the day of, just please sign up beforehand. Have a great Holiday Season!

The cafeteria now has a peanut free table at lunch time due to the presence of a student in the school with a severe peanut allergy.
