Below are the quarterly highlights of the Worthington Fire-Rescue Department activities from April 1st to ~June 30th, 2023. If you may be interested in joining the department and serving our community, please contact any Fire Department member or come to one of the meetings below.
- Regular FD truck check & business meeting: 2nd Monday each month, @ 7pm.
- Regular FD training (@ Worthington FD): 4th Monday each month, @ 7 pm.

- Vehicle accidents – 2; 1 involving helicopter medical evacuation to Baystate
- Chimney fire calls – 1

- Carbon Monoxide & Smoke Detector Alarm calls – 4
- Illegal burn – 1
- Brush Fires – 5 including mutual aid calls: (1) Chesterfield, (1) Cummington
- Structure Fires – 2; mutual aid support provided to Chesterfield, & Cummington
- Search & Rescue – 1
- Lightning strike – structure – 1
- Tractor/Trailer – brake fire – 1
