Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) community members have an extra $40-$80 on their EBT card for fresh fruits and vegetables!
There are so many local Summer Farmers’ Markets open and bursting with fresh produce! There are also many farm-stands that accept SNAP and HIP benefits. HIP can also be used to make monthly payments at some CSA farms (find them listed in the printable HIP location list). Some Fall and Winter CSAs are also starting to take sign ups!
HIP Benefits can be used at:
- The Hilltown Mobile Market Store at Sawyer Farm, 19 Sawyer Rd in Worthington
- Crabapple Farm; 100 Bryant St in Chesterfield.
