Happy Friday! It was wonderful to see so many families on Wednesday evening for Curriculum Night! Thank you for your continued support and for trusting us with your children! We are so grateful for the supportive community!
Next week, I invite parents and caregivers to join me for the first annual Coffee with the Principal on September 22nd at 8:30 a.m. in the library. I plan to share a short update on how the beginning of the year is going, and then around 8:55 a.m., we will break into small groups to visit classrooms so we can participate in the classroom morning meeting.

PTO Update: The PTO would like to thank you for supporting the school through the Hillside Pizza fundraiser. We made a $650 profit. The next event will be on the night of Open House with a grinder sale. PTO is looking for volunteers. Please email Max Breiteneicher at jmaximilianb@gmail.com to sign up to help. Stay tuned for more details. The next meeting is on October 20 at 6:00PM.

Open House: Is on October 6, 2022 from 5:30 – 6:30PM. What is Open House? It is a chance for the students to show their families their classrooms, their desks and lockers and share some of the work they have been doing in the classroom. This is also a great opportunity to meet the teachers and see the school if you haven’t already. We are excited to announce that the PTO will be having a Grinder sale that night at 5:00 P.M. More information and a sign up sheet will be sent home soon.
Volunteers: We are looking for community members to substitute and/or volunteer at R.H. Conwell. Please see the volunteer form found here and kindly fill out and return to the office. If you have questions, please call me at 413-238-5856.
School Information: We communicate to families predominantly by email and school folders. The email addresses that we use come from the registration form. If there is a grandparent, aunt/uncle or other guardian that you would like to have this information please share their email with the office at louellet@hr-k12.org. We will do our best to include them. Thank you very much.
Come to the Worthington Town Hall to play Dungeons & Dragons on Mondays, from 3:15-5:15pm, to defeat the evil King Targrath of the trolls and his minions, roll dice, and have fun. This will start September 19 and is from 3:15-5:15 P.M.. This is for students ages 9 – 13. The Dungeon Master is Cordelia Woodard and the Supervisor is Susan Warner. This is limited to Six players (A second party may be formed – we’ll need another Dungeon Master). Please email Lisa (louellet@hr-k12.org) in the office to authorize Susan Warner to pick up your child at the end of the school day. - September 22nd: Monthly Parent Meeting beginning at 8:30 a.m. and beginning at 8:55 a.m. parents will be invited into classrooms to participate in a morning meeting.
- September 23rd: All School Meeting beginning at 9:00 a.m.
