INVITATION FOR BIDS

TOWN OF WORTHINGTON

PROJECT: CONWELL SCHOOL EXTERIOR ENVELOPE REPAIRS

Location: R. H. Conwell Elementary School 147 Huntington Road, Worthington, MA

Improvements to exterior envelope, corridor link(s), attics, two classrooms and gymnasium in 1971 wing, and related sprinkler, mechanical, and electrical work.

This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All bids shall be submitted online at www.Projectdog.com. Hard copy bids will not be accepted by the Awarding Authority. Tutorials and Instructions are available online at www.Projectdog.com. For assistance, contact Projectdog Inc. at 978.499.9014.

Bid Documents and Bid Forms shall be available online at www.Projectdog.com beginning on February 23, 2022. Log in and enter the Project Code 847676 in the search box and select “Acquire Documents” for a free, downloadable bid set. Hard copies of the documents may be purchased online by credit card. – shipping & handling charges apply. Neither Owner nor Architect/Engineer shall be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than Projectdog Inc.

Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at R. H. Conwell Elementary School, Tuesday, March 2, 2022, at 1:30 p.m.

Sealed bids for furnishing the following items will be received ON-LINE ONLY. Filed Sub-bids will be opened ON-LINE on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. General Bids will be opened ON-LINE on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.

All bidders and sub-bidders are advised that FUNDING OF THIS PROJECT IS SUBJECT TO APPROPRIATION by the Town of Worthington of the full amount required to fund the bids awarded pursuant to this invitation at its Annual Town Meeting, scheduled to occur under town by-law on May 7, 2022.

The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
