School Committee Returns to In-Person Meetings

Community Announcement Regarding School Committee’s return to in-person meetings

Dear Worthington Community Members,

We have appreciated the increased community interest in our meetings during the last year+ of remote meetings during the COVID pandemic.  We hope that it will continue as we return to in-person meetings.

Starting with our July 22 meeting, the school committee will be returning to in-person meetings.  Community members are welcomed and encouraged to attend.  Meetings will be held in the RH Conwell cafeteria at 6:30pm.  Meetings are generally held the 2nd Thursday of every month, with some exceptions for additional meetings or for rescheduling around holidays or committee members’ absences.  (For example, our August meeting will be the 5th.)

Meeting agendas will be posted at Town Hall, the Corners community notice board, and on the Town website’s community calendar:  https://worthington-ma.us/aec-calendar/

There will a designated time at the beginning and the end of each meeting for audience comment.  Anyone who is unable to attend the meeting but would like to contribute a comment or question to be read aloud at the meeting may email questions to the Chair, Alison Todd, at atodd@scm.hr-k12.org by 5:30pm the day of the meeting.  Emailed comments must include the sender’s full name; they will be identified in the meeting.

As always, community members are also welcome to contact individual committee members at any time with comments or questions through the Committee’s page on the town website: https://worthington-ma.us/municipal-directory/school-district/worthington-school-committee/

Thank you,
Alison Todd, Chair
