Vaccination Update – February 17, 2021

As​ ​of​ ​Thursday,​ ​February​ ​18,​ ​2021,​ ​vaccine​ ​eligibility​ ​has​ ​been​ ​expanded​ ​
to​ ​anyone​ ​aged​ ​65​ ​or​ ​older​ ​and​ ​those​ ​with​ ​two​ ​or​ ​more​ ​”qualifying”​ ​
diseases.​ ​Including:

  • moderate and severe asthma
  • cancer
  • chronic kidney disease
  • COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • Down syndrome
  • heart conditions such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies
  • immunocompromised state from organ transplant
  • obesity and severe obesity
  • pregnancy
  • sickle cell disease
  • smoking
  • type 2 diabetes
