Good Morning Community,
On Friday, the PTO hosted the third annual Thanksgiving Feast! The event was well attended and the array of homecooked food was delicious and filling! A huge thanks to the PTO and the volunteers who helped make the evening so lovely! And a special thanks to Jaimie Ricci, Tiger Thomas, The Pelkey Family, Greg Tompkins, and Mica Newcomb-Gerken for their time and efforts!
Earlier this month our STARS Residencies Grant was approved! Beginning this week, Tom McCabe will begin working with all our students! The residency will focus on an introduction to narrative writing.
Check out Tom’s web page for a glimpse into his past residency and upcoming events! http://www.tommccabe.com/. After winter break, Tom plans to host an all school presentation for the community to hear the final projects! Stay tuned!
This is a short week with a noon dismissal on Wednesday! On behalf of all the faculty at R.H. Conwell, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and heartfelt Thanksgiving filled with good food and great memories.
Looking ahead we have some dates/event to be mindful of! As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or just stop in for a cup of coffee.
A few friendly reminders and opportunities:
- CHICKEN CHORES! We need families to sign up for January and February chicken chores.
- If you would like to join the volunteer library team, please contact the office 238-5856.

- November 27: Noon Dismissal (Thanksgiving Break from 11.27 – 11.29)
- December 6: Noon Dismissal ~ Faculty PD
- December 12: School Committee Meeting
