The Town of Worthington received a very nice Christmas present from the state. We’ve been officially designated a Green Community and awarded an initial grant of $128,495 to be used toward energy efficiency projects in Worthington.

Special thanks to Peggy for a lot of the heavy lifting on the application. Over the next few weeks the committee will be meeting to determine priorities and we’ll submit our application specifying how we’ll spend the grant.
