A large red house with a brick chimney.

Saying Goodbye to Ralph’s House

A house that is being remodeled with trees in the background.

Phase one of the Moran House demolition was asbestos abatement and that has been completed.  As you can see the siding, roofing and interior wall & floor coverings have all been removed from the house.  Much of it has already been hauled away and as you can see the remainder is in a roll-off container, waiting to be picked up.

A stone wall with the date 1 9 2 3 on it.
Other elements that were revealed included this carved date set into the chimney stone work which we hope to rescue and preserve

The actual demoliton will take place in the next week or so.  Below are some photos of the remaining shell prior to demolition.   As part of the asbestos abatement and as you can see all the vegetation was removed from around the house exposing the stone foundation.
