Join us for Books & Brews, the Worthington Library’s new off-site quarterly book club. This is a social event bringing together fellow booklovers to discuss what you’re reading or listening to and buy yourself a good brew. Books & Brews will be hosted at local venues on a rotating basis. The first of these events will be hosted by Liston’s on January 29, 2026, from 6 pm to close, at 324 Old North Rd, Worthington.
Beginning February 11, 2026, the Worthington Library will host a 12-week study of the book Experiencing God: Knowing & Doing the Will of God by Henry Blackaby. Hosted and facilitated by Dr Robert Perreault of Hilltown Community Church, meetings will run from 6 to 7 pm on Wednesdays. Please bring a copy of the book with you. For further information, contact Clarence Witter at 413.238.5303 or 774.217.4760.
The Worthington Library Book Club, a monthly reading group that meets on the last Saturday of each month at 4 pm, will be introducing a new quarterly “speculative” discussion concept for fiction readers who wish they could wonder aloud among friends, “What will happen next?” before the end of the story. Our first speculative session will be February 18, 2026, and we will read (most but not all of) The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell.
