Construction Update – Road Grading 7/31/2025

The Worthington Highway Department will be grading Bashan Hill and Parsh Roads next week. To fascilitate that, they will be hauling gravel to those locations from the town yard. Unfortunately that necessicates travel over Lindsay Hill Road with town trucks. They’ll take it slow, AS WE ALL ARE!

Once we get 143 open again past East Windsor Road, they’ll be hauling fresh gravel in and grading Lindsay Hill Road, too.

I don’t have a firm update yet, but it’s looking like Route 143, between East Windsor Rd & Bashan Hill Rd will continue to be closed through next week. I’ll let you know as I get further updates.

  1. Charley,
The heavy trucks traveling on and down Lindsey Hill Road are turning the road on the hill into a horrible washboard surface. Once grading is done on Bashan and Parsh Roads, will the town highway department regrade for us Lindsey Hill residents the washboard portion of Lindsey Hill Rd whose previously smooth surface is being destroyed by the large trucks?
