Summer is a coming! This means that June 12, 2025 is the last pub sing until fall.
Join us at Sena Farm Brewery at 7:00 as we sing outside around the fire pit.
We’ll focus on American folk songs for this final sing of the season. For our ‘campfire’ musicians are welcome to bring instruments to accompany singers. You may want to also bring along a folding chair. If the weather cooperates, it will be a fine time for a picnic on the Sena patio. The taproom opens at 6:00. I’ll bring the s’more fixings!

A note on the Lafayette Celebration in Worthington: Last Thursday Hilltown Pub Sing was proud to co-sponsor Rick Spenser and Dawn Indermuehle who gave a wonderful performance of songs from the American Revolution and songs written for Lafayette’s 1824-25 tour of all 24 states. They punctuated the evening with historical stories about Lafayette’s amazing contribution to our country. Thanks to Sue and Don Grant who recommended Rick and Dawn’s program.
Upcoming Lafayette events include a historic talk on June 5th, on June 8 th at 1:00 there is a Revolutionary War Veterans Tour Center Cemetery in Worthington, and June 10 th is the second Historic Dance Workshop led by Imogen Mills.
But the culminating event is the Lafayette Grand Ball on June 13 th! This (costume optional) ball will begin at 7:00 with traditional music and dance, a visit by Lafayette, and then dancing to the Soul Magnets, a nine-piece soul band that will have everyone dancing! Tickets are available at $20 each online at worthingtonhistoricalsociety.org
