R.H. Conwell Community Newsletter 12/6/2024

Dear Community

It’s with mixed emotions that I share with you that Monday will be Mr. Wolf’s last day as our beloved School Custodian. He has accepted the position of Highway Superintendent for the town of Worthington! We are so excited for the town to gain his expertise and unwavering work ethic. The faculty and students will all miss seeing him on a daily basis, and we plan to celebrate him on Monday with the students!

From the Nurses Office: This is just a friendly reminder that students need to come to school properly dressed for the weather. As the weather gets colder and wet, students need to have the following items: winter hat, mittens/gloves, winter boots, snow pants, and a proper winter jacket. We will continue to be outside throughout the winter months, unless it is unsafe to do so. We keep a stock of outdoor clothing but not enough for all who need them and no washing machine here!

Calling all R.H. Conwell Chorus Members: The R.H. Conwell Chorus has an opportunity to join the New Hingham Elementary Chorus in performing the National Anthem at an upcoming UMASS Basketball game! This will be a great opportunity for students to meet peers who they may be singing with in middle school and high school, and a wonderful way to showcase their musical talent! Please email me at [email protected] to indicate whether you would like your student to participate. The date hasn’t been set yet, and your response will help us know whether this will be a feasible endeavor for us to move forward with. Tickets are $10 to attend, and we’re hoping to get a good crowd to support our singers!

Attendance: For the month of November, 25 students received the perfect attendance certificate!

Parent Tea: Please join me for tea on Monday, December 9 at 2:45.
