Dear Community:
We started our morning with the Kindergarteners leading the All School Meeting! They did a terrific job! And, the teachers surprised the students by bursting into a version of Jingle Bell Rock! We had a lot of fun!
Have a wonderful and restful holiday break! See you in 2025!
From Nurse Steph:
Dear RH Conwell Community,
I am writing to let you know that January 6th will be my last day at RH Conwell. I was unexpectedly approached about a really exciting professional opportunity, and I decided to go for it. I was offered the position, and after much thought, I have decided to accept it. While I am elated for the chance to serve in this new role, I am incredibly sad to leave this amazing community! The students of RH Conwell are among the most impressive young people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Your children are smart, kind, compassionate, and funny! They have brought so much joy into my life, and I can only hope that I have in some way positively contributed to their experience at RH Conwell. It will be hard to say goodbye, but I know I leave them in very capable and caring hands with Nurse Meg. My new role will entail working as a regional consultant supporting school nurses in the Western part of the state, which means I can still support RHC from afar. I want to thank you all for your partnership and your trust in caring for your children while at school. It has been an honor and a privilege to get to know them and their families.
Wishing you all a wonderful winter break, a happy holiday season, and all the best in 2025!
Warmest regards, Nurse Steph
Calling all R.H. Conwell Chorus Members: The R.H. Conwell Chorus has an opportunity to join the New Hingham Elementary Chorus in performing the National Anthem at an upcoming UMASS Basketball game! This will be a great opportunity for students to meet peers who they may be singing with in middle school and high school, and a wonderful way to showcase their musical talent! Please email me at [email protected] to indicate whether you would like your student to participate. The date hasn’t been set yet, and your response will help us know whether this will be a feasible endeavor for us to move forward with. Tickets are $10 to attend, and we’re hoping to get a good crowd to support our singers!

This Week we sampled Cucumbers, such a refreshing treat in this chilly month, and Pulmelos! Which is very similar to a grapefruit. The students and families also enjoyed a Holiday Lunch with local ham from Outlook Farm, creamed corn, and scalloped Potatoes! Have a great Winter Break!!
