Happy Labor Day! We hope you’re enjoying a long weekend. 
Just a friendly reminder that the transfer station hours are changing to winter hours this week. Starting now, the new hours are:
- Saturday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Wednesday: 12 noon – 4:00 pm
Also, a huge congratulations to everyone for embracing the new household organic waste/composting collection! 
We’re now picking up 2-3 containers a week, which is a fantastic start. This organic material is being turned into soil in Cheshire, MA, instead of being hauled down to South Carolina and buried in a landfill.
