The Town of Worthington is requesting written quotes for the purchase and installation of a Tankless, On-Demand, Electric, Hot-Water Heater for the Fire/Police Station at 51 Huntington Road.
- Tankless, On-demand electric water heater for the Fire/Police Station:
- Stiebel Eltron Tempra 24 Plus or equivalent product
- Price to include both electrical and plumbing work.
- Permit fees to be waived by the Town.
- This project is tax exempt; a Form ST-5 and/or ST-2 will be furnished upon request.
- Prevailing Wage Rates (PWR) do not apply for business owners who are “sole proprietors”. Businesses owners with employees in addition to the owner must comply with the PWR Schedule (included in bid packet).
- Certificates of non-collusion and tax compliance (included in bid packet) must be included with your quotes.
- A choice of times is available for Thursday, September 19th’s, mandatory site visit: 8:00 AM or 4:00 PM. Vendors may choose the time most convenient for them.
- Pertinent information discussed during the site visits at the Fire Station will be shared with all interested parties.
Responses to this solicitation are due Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Noon. Bid packets with the subject line “Electric Hot Water Heater” are to be submitted via email to (selectboard@worthington-ma.us). Confirmation of receipt will be given.
Award notification will be given Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
