The South Worthington Church Association invites the public to a join them on April 20, 10-12, at the Worthington Historical Society Building, 6 Williamsburg Road, for a brainstorming session about the future of the church.
We are in a state of transition and are hoping to attract more supporters with some great ideas for programming and for the preservation of our building. Refreshments will be served.
Hello! I’m writing to you as a musician and as a resident of Chesterfield (just up the street on Ireland Street). I was wondering whether it would be possible to use the space at the South Worthington Church to occasionally practice there? In return, I would gladly offer to volunteer my services as a professional musician in some way, as I am both a singer and a pianist. I’ve attached a link to my professional bio, so that you can have a sense of my musical journeys through life.
I have been practicing for the last few years at West Cummington Congregational Church (where I also perform quite frequently), but recently my partner and I have become a one-car family (our old Toyota Yaris finally bit the dust after 300,000 miles). Therefore driving 21 miles round trip to W. Cummington in order to practice has become more difficult to organize.
I look forward to hearing from you!
sincerely,
Laila Salins
