Dear Community:

We continue to be deeply shocked and saddened by the events that occurred earlier this week at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee.

We want to assure you that the safety of our students is our top priority. We are constantly reviewing our security measures to ensure that we are doing everything we can to protect our students and faculty.  We also urge everyone to speak up if they see or hear anything that could represent a potential threat to school safety.

Please join us in keeping the Nashville community in our thoughts at this time. Thank you for your support.

School Committee Budget Meeting:  4/6/23 Meeting Agenda – Budget Meeting

PTO Update:  Thanks to the whole school community for the wonderful donations for the book fair! The first home-grown fair was a three-day event, and the kids got some great books. Special thanks to Kate Dahill and Emily Lapinski, and to Mrs. Ashley for making the Saturday open fair so special. All the money raised will go to funding field trips, classroom supplies, and projects like the installation of a new slide on the playground! The old one had been cracked and thanks to the generosity of the school community we’ve been able to fund the ordering and installation of a new one! We are also planning the events of teacher appreciation week starting May 8 and are looking forward to honoring the heart of our school, our teachers! If you would like to donate money to these and other projects, you can donate securely online to the PTO with this link! To get involved, volunteer time, or for more information please email worthingtonpto.ma@gmail.com.

Wellness Committee:  The RH Conwell Wellness Committee is planning a no-screen challenge for our community:  students, staff and families will be invited to join.  It will be a chance to evaluate how our screen use affects our lives. We’ll party when it’s over!  Look for details in upcoming newsletters.
