Dear Community:

Tomorrow is Veterans Day, and the district would like to thank all of the Veterans for their service to our country.

PTO Update: The PTO is funding a Thanksgiving Feast for the kids during lunch on the 22nd – turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, apple pie and more! We are seeking volunteers to help Mrs. Ashley with the prep starting at 9:30am on the 22nd – please email [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering! The community-wide Thanksgiving dinner has been canceled for this year. The Worthington School District PTO is now a registered public 501c3 non-profit, so all donations are tax-deductible and we can more broadly raise funds to help our wonderful school. Thanks to Mark Corner for the work!

Reminders from Nurse’s Office:

  • You have returned over two thirds of the OPT-IN forms for COVID testing. Keep them coming. Thank you so much!
  • In the next few weeks, I will begin screening the students for hearing, vision, spinal curvature and BMI. More information to come.
  • If your child is going to be absent or tardy, please cc [email protected] and [email protected].
  • We know of no new cases of Covid since early last week. The high fever/cough virus is still occurring but with less frequency. School absences have been very low this week. Don’t hesitate to request rapid Covid tests. We have plenty.
  • If you have a health concern and feel that a call to Nurse Meg is warranted to help make a decision about sending your child to school, please text Nurse Meg at 413-320-8172 or email her at [email protected] before 7:00 a.m. and until 7p.m.
