Library Summer Programs

“Read Beyond the Beaten Path”
2022 Summer Programs at the Worthington Library

The Worthington Library is offering programs for kids and adults in this summer’s program, titled, “Read Beyond the Beaten Path.” Programs will run on Thursdays on The Worthington Library lawn from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

July 21 – Come read, explore, and make progress toward winning the prizes for reading the most books during the summer program!

July 28 – Join us for Impromptu Camping Magic with Ed the Wizard where you’ll learn how to perform magic tricks using typical camping and hiking trip items. Ed the Wizard recommends bringing your own large handkerchief or bandana, band-aids, a long pencil, paper plate, cup, shoe string or thin rope, and a quarter. Extra materials can be supplied.

August 4 – Trail Mix with Diane Edgecomb takes us on a fossil dig in Montana to discover a new dinosaur and some sassy bugs. Along the way, we’ll enjoy stories and songs.

August 11 – Mary Jo Maichack teaches us how to build fairy houses. Create a fairy house for the library or to take home during this magical program.
