Registered Democrats in Worthington will hold a caucus on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, 7:00pm at Worthington Town Hall to elect Delegates and Alternates to the 2020 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention.
This year’s state convention will be held May 30th at the Tsongas Center in Lowell where delegates will cast a vote for their preferred Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate. The candidate who receives a majority of the convention’s vote will receive the endorsement of the convention.
The caucus is open to everyone; however, only those registered or pre-registered as Democrats in Worthington may vote to elect delegates. Pre-registered Democrats who will be 16 years old by February 15, 2020 can participate and run as a Delegate or Alternate. Worthington is permitted to elect one Delegate and one Alternate.
